The First One, also known as the Red One or Zombie Zero, was the first person to be infected, and the first zombie known to exist. He was called "The First One" by Dr. Adamos.

Pre Apocalypse

The First One was a person who, by unknown means, became Patient Zero in the 2012 outbreak. It is unknown how he contracted the Virus, or who he was before his "death". He appears to be a firefighter, as his attire consists of bunker pants and boots, usually what a firefighter wears.

It is also unknown, though implied, that he was the zombie responsible for the mass infection of the planet.

By the events of Dead Trigger 2, he appears to have evolved into a red, fast, and a muscular monster compared to other bosses.

Inside the CDC

When Kyle and his team explore the CDC they first see him in an empty room pounding against a locker. Dr. Adamos is inside the locker. When he sees Kyle and his team he runs away and breaks a window and jumps down.

Anti-Toxin Dispenser

The First One appeared out of nowhere, and attacks the toxin dispenser. He then leaps over another wall and vanishes.

Showdown

Kyle and the player are sent by Ulrich to find and neutralize him in the containers yard. He appears and attacks Kyle and the player. He is then recovered by Dr. Adamos and is held for an autopsy.

He was trapped into the container yard by Ulrich and Dr. Adamos.

Autopsy

After he is neutralized by Kyle and the player. He is sent to a local clinic where Dr. Adamos and Dr. Herman extract some of his tissue.

Cloned

In the last mission of the Europe Campaign, Kyle and the player are tasked to find a toxin sample. On their way, they are blocked by two clones of The First One. They were created by the Black Coats with his help.

Behaviour

He frequently jumps from heights and charges at humans and acts exactly like a Rager when in combat. The First One is much stronger and has much more health than Rager's. Before he tries to knock you over he howls at the top of his lungs.

Movie

In the Dead Trigger movie, he is called “Subject Zero”.
