The Scorpion EVO is a submachine gun in Dead Trigger 2. It is the third submachine gun to be unlocked. It requires Tech level 6 to reveal the blueprint and Gunsmith level 8 to be built.
Summary
The Scorpion EVO is a powerful submachine gun, firing powerful bursts of four, and are usually enough to take down any zombie in sight. It's also effective against Special zombies, due to its high damage. Its Red Dot Sight allows easy and precise aiming.
It has an unusual mode of firing for a submachine gun - it fires in four-round bursts. One burst is more than enough to kill a zombie, but as four shots are always fired at a time, it can lead to a waste of ammo, especially if attempting to perform headshots.
Due to its burst-fire mode and the low 112 reserve rounds, the Scorpion EVO can run out of ammunition very quickly. Ammo Chickens are quite useful if one considers to use this gun as a primary weapon. Another option is to pair it with some weapon that has a lot of ammunition or to use it as a 'secondary' weapon.
Another thing that can be considered as a drawback is its low range, compared to rifles. It's not advised to fire at long range, as it is a waste of ammo. However, this weapon serves well in close to medium range combat. - The Scorpion EVO's reflex sight is reversed in the menu pictures, but are correct in-game.
- It is the only SMG in the Dead Trigger series that fires in bursts, and also one of the two weapons that fires in 4-round bursts, the other being the Crossbow.
